In this paper, factors that influence the properties of Ti-B-C-N ceramic coating prepared by reactive spraying are reviewed. The effects of spraying process,powder preparation and formula on the properties of Ti-B-C-N coating are summarized, and future development and research trends of reactive sprayed Ti-B-C-N ceramic coating are discussed. It is deduced that proper spraying process, reasonable preparation method and formula of spraying powders are the key factors to prepare excellent coatings.
