Machine learning and knowledge discovery help the artificial intelligence system obtain more profound cognition of the causal relationship between phenomena and information, help IDSS(intelligence decision support system) enhance the working efficiency, and help improve the coordination between the users and machines. This paper discusses the application of machine learning and knowledge discovery to the intelligent early warning system of public emergencies in institutions.
