OpenSSL is an open source toolkit used to develop the network security software. By using this software package we can speed development cycles and improve operational efficiency and stability of the softwares. But at present, most softwares based on OpenSSL can not bring out to full play the features of high efficiency and high stability. This lies in the fact that developers know very little about the advanced programming methods of OpenSSL.This paper elaborates on the senior application of OpenSSL so as to improve the softwares'' operational efficiency and stability, and brings forward two ways to resolve these problems.
