This paper proposes a fingerprint classification arithmetic based on polar coordinates.It uses orientation information and coordinate information of core point and delta point,which successfully solve the problem of fingerprint rotation,translation and transformation.The experiment has proved that it can improve accuracy of fingerprint classification effectively.
