    Abstract:

    Titanium alloy and high temperature alloys are widely used in the fields of aerospace, shipping, energy and others, because of their excellent performance. They are mainly applied to manufacture precision parts with complex surface. How to finish complex surface of difficult-to-machine alloy with high quality and efficiency has been become a hot research topic both at home and abroad. The technology of magnetic abrasive finishing is one of the important finishing technologies. Combining with low-frequency vibration or ultrasonic vibration, it can attain the higher precision, quality and efficiency. Based on the research results of the author and other scholars, the working principle, characteristic and the related current research of magnetic abrasive finishing, vibration assisted magnetic abrasive finishing and ultrasonic assisted magnetic abrasive finishing are introduced, meanwhile, the important problems for the further study are present to realize the finishing of complex surface with the technology of magnetic abrasive finishing.
