Abstract:

The infrared spectrum, 1D and 2D NMR (¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, DEPT,¹H-¹H COSY, HSQC and HMBC) spectra of tamsulosin hydrochloride were reported and interpreted. All the NMR signals were assigned. The infrared spectrum was analyzed to derive the types of vibration of the functional groups. The structure of tamsulosin hydrochloride was elucidated.
